The DIY Traffic Signal STEM Kit lets students build a real, working traffic light on a wooden stand with a road-printed base. It’s a fun way to learn about sequencing, timing and road safety.
How it works
The three LEDs — red, yellow and green — light in a fixed sequence, just like a real signal, while a countdown display shows the seconds remaining. It shows how simple timed logic controls the flow of traffic.
What’s in the kit
- Traffic-light head and module with countdown display
- Stand pole, base plate and support parts
- 2× AA battery holder and batteries
- Wires, clips and glue stick
Great for
Primary and secondary science projects, road-safety demonstrations and STEM fairs. Want to build one with code instead? Grab an Arduino and our parts from the store.
