A tiny light-controlled switch module built around a photoresistor (LDR). It switches an LED or LED strip on automatically when it gets dark and off again in daylight — no microcontroller or code required.
- Onboard LDR light sensor — fully automatic operation
- Screw-free solder pads: V+ / V− for power and LED+ / LED− for the load
- DO digital-output pad, so you can also feed the light state to an Arduino
- Very compact at roughly 28 × 8 mm — hides easily inside an enclosure
Ideal for automatic night lights, cupboard and stair lighting, garden and porch lights, and school science projects.
Tip: check the operating voltage on your unit before wiring it to a supply.
