The HC-12 is one of the easiest ways to add long-range wireless to an Arduino, ESP32 or any microcontroller project. It talks plain serial (TX/RX), so anything you can print over a UART, you can send across a field, a building or a street. Two modules out of the box are already on the same channel — power them up, wire TX to RX, and they just talk. When you need more, the on-board SI4463 chip lets you change channel, baud rate and transmit power with simple AT commands.
