RF 433MHz Long-Range Remote — a single button that reaches right across the property
This is the long-range version of the familiar 433MHz remote. Where a keyring fob struggles once you are a couple of rooms away, this one carries a proper telescopic antenna: collapse it for pocket-sized everyday use, pull it out fully and the working range roughly doubles. One large red button, one channel, nothing to get confused about — press it and your receiver fires.
It transmits on the standard 433MHz band using ASK modulation, so it pairs with the common 433MHz receiver modules and RF relay boards used for gates, shutters, water pumps, lights and alarm circuits.
Specifications
- Frequency: 433MHz
- Modulation: ASK
- Channels: 1 button (single channel)
- Coding: learning code — pairs with EV1527 / learning-code receivers
- Model: Century Aoke AK1000-1F, ABS housing
- Range: up to approximately 100m in open line of sight, with the antenna fully extended
- Battery: one 23A 12V cell (the small cylindrical alarm-remote battery), typically lasting about a year in normal use
- Operating current: around 6mA while transmitting
- Antenna: extendable telescopic type
- Body: approximately 58 × 39 × 16 mm, with a keyring clip
Be realistic about the range
The 100m figure is a line-of-sight, open-ground number, and every remote in this class is rated the same way. Walls, steel gates, trees and other 433MHz traffic all cut into it, so indoors through a couple of concrete walls you should expect considerably less. Extending the antenna makes a genuine, noticeable difference — use it.
What people use it for
- Gate, shutter and garage-door openers
- Switching water pumps and motors from a distance
- Outdoor and garden lighting, and roof-tank level alarms
- Wireless doorbells, alarms and panic buttons
- Arduino and ESP32 projects using a 433MHz receiver module
You will also need a receiver
This is the transmitter only. To actually switch something you need a matching 433MHz receiver — we stock the 433MHz 1-Channel RF Wireless Receiver (3.6V–24V) and 4-channel RF receiver boards. This is the learning-code version, so pairing is the usual routine: press the learn button on the receiver, then press the remote once to store it.
Why buy it from Arduino Corner
We stock the remotes and the receivers together, so you leave with a pair that is already known to work with each other instead of guessing at compatibility. Come and test the range in the shop before you buy.
